I have 11 years of teaching experience at the middle school level. For a decade, I taught language arts to eighth-graders. I love teaching because I enjoy helping young people and introducing them to literature. I work well with students at this level and age, and I've developed skills in building rapport with these students. I believe if students understand that I am invested in their success, they will be motivated and work hard. Subjects I can tutor include writing, literature, history, English, Shakespeare, world civilization, world history, test preparation, and other related subjects. My spare time, I enjoy playing volleyball, spending time with my family, and reading.
